Trained as a Writing Fellow through the City University of New York Graduate Center, the Collaborative\u2019s Founder and Director Dr. Wendy Galgan brings to clients her more than 20 years of experience teaching creative writing, business communication, and composition courses at the college level, first in Brooklyn, New York and now in Standish, Maine. Over the years she has also worked one-on-one with numerous writers who were completing creative projects, entering the workforce or changing jobs, and applying to graduate programs. A published poet and academic author herself, she is also the founder and editor of Assisi: An Online Journal of Arts & Letters. All clients of Mid-Coast Writers Collaborative will work directly with Dr. Galgan.
